The STEP footrest has been designed to support the feet. It is useful in situations where the feet cannot reach the ground.

Such situations may occur in the following cases:

• the desk is quite high, so the person sitting on the chair must raise it quite high for comfort,
• the person is sitting on a bar stool so that they are at the same height as a standing person, this is common in places such as supermarket checkouts and reception desks,
• the sitting person is short and, even though they have lowered the chair, their feet do not touch the floor.

Bar stools typically feature a footrest attached to a gas column. However, this design requires you to tuck your legs under the seat, which can hinder blood circulation in the thigh area.

The STEP footrest is available in two versions – with or without height adjustment. The adjustable version offers footrest heights of 110, 140, or 170mm. The non-adjustable version has a fixed height of 85mm.

The footrest has a platform that rotates automatically depending on the position of the feet, so everyone can find a comfortable position.
