Chairs come with standard features depending on the specification according to which they are manufactured.
However, in some cases, we can “upgrade” a chair by adding certain components that enhance its appearance or introduce new functionalities.
Below is a list of solutions we refer to as “upgrades” — from a production perspective, the changes are minor, but they can significantly transform the perception of the product.
Please note that such upgrades are not always possible in every case. Many of these solutions are already used in selected products listed below.
If you are interested in applying any of these upgrades to your chosen chairs, please contact our Sales Department.
Some solutions may require longer lead times and minimum order quantities.
The ACTIVE-3D function enables the seat to tilt forward (2°) and sideways (4°), independently of the synchronous mechanism itself. The seat tilt can be almost completely locked using a dedicated lever. The mechanism operates very quietly, smoothly, and comfortably.
The ACTIVE-3D function is used in our models with backrest height adjustment. It can also be applied in models without backrest adjustment, but this requires a different method of connecting the backrest to the mechanism. If you are interested, please contact our Sales Department.
Chairs in which this function is used:

The forward seat tilt is a feature that allows the seat to tilt forward by a defined angle, independently of the other chair functions.
It is also referred to as “active sitting” or an “open hip angle.” While sometimes considered unnecessary or uncomfortable, in the seat forward tilt can offer many benefits.
Tilting the seat forward opens the angle between the torso and thighs beyond 90 degrees and encourages proper sitting posture.
Benefits of using a seat forward tilt mechanism:
The seat forward tilt function is available in our MS-REVO-SY-TR-FST synchronous mechanisms with seat slide. This mechanism can be used interchangeably with MS-REVO-SY mechanisms (with or without seat slide), which are used in many of our chairs.
Any change of mechanism must be approved by the Sales Department, as such substitution is not always possible without necessary adaptations.
SILENT casters feature an additional ring on the stem inserted into the chair base.
This extra ring significantly reduces the noise generated by contact between the stem and the base.
This is particularly useful when the bases are made of aluminum or steel.
Minimum order quantities apply to SILENT casters.

The AL-CUSHION lumbar support is a proven solution based on manually inflating a dedicated air cushion.
The rectangular cushion, made of soft PVC, is positioned inside the backrest at the lumbar height, beneath the upholstery. It is inflated using a pump integrated into the backrest, while air can be released via a button located on the pump.
The key advantage of this solution is its virtually stepless adjustment of support intensity — the more air you pump in, the firmer and more pronounced the support becomes. Additionally, the lumbar support is soft, flexible, and adapts very well to the shape of the user’s back.
The AL-CUSHION support is used in the following chairs:
This option is not available in the online configurator — please contact our Sales Department.
EMIRING casters are distinctive “open-center” casters manufactured by the Italian company Emilsider, a leader in caster production.
The casters have a diameter of 65 mm and can be used interchangeably with standard 60 mm casters.
Both the wheel and the housing are made of polyamide. The casters are available in several versions: hard, soft (with a tread), and with an automatic brake. The wheel color is always black (hard version) or grey (soft version), while the housing is black.
The EMIRING housing can also be made of zamak — an alloy of zinc, aluminum, magnesium, and copper. In this version, the finish is available in either polished chrome or matte chrome.
EMIRING casters are also offered in a “silent” version (described in a separate section).
Minimum order quantities apply to EMIRING casters.

SHD gas lifts are reinforced compared to standard gas lifts.
Both types — SHD and standard — comply with the EN16955, class 4 standard, which means a load capacity of up to 150 kg. The difference lies in their construction. SHD gas lifts feature an additional internal profile inside the housing, which strengthens the entire structure. As a result, SHD columns offer increased durability and a greater extension range.
The extension is approximately 25 mm greater compared to standard gas lifts with the same external housing size.
The increased durability comes from improved resistance to lateral deflection when the piston is fully extended.
In most cases, replacing a standard gas lift with an SHD version is possible for nearly all chair models (excluding bar stools). Please contact our Sales Department for details.

The LOGICO mechanism allows the seat to tilt in all directions, providing exceptional seating comfort.
Its operation is maintenance-free, stepless, and completely silent. When the mechanism reaches its tilt limit, it gently rebounds — with no knocking or grinding.
LOGICO is perfectly suited for soft seating armchairs, side chairs, and chairs or stools designed for active sitting.
Due to its design and functionality, LOGICO is not used in task/swivel chairs. In such chairs, a similar function is performed by the ACTIVE-3D mechanism (described in a separate section).

Functions of the LOGICO mechanism:
The LOGICO mechanism is used in many of our models, including:
ACTIVE SEATING
SOFT SEATING / VISITOR CHAIRS
A folding seat is a rather uncommon solution, rarely used in chairs.
It is an ideal option for conference rooms where chairs need to be frequently folded or transported. Typically, chairs can be stacked vertically, which, however, requires lifting and carrying them.
With a folding seat, stacking is done horizontally — the chairs can simply be slid into one another.
The folding seat is available in the following collection:
